KRAIG KITCHIN
For more than 40 years, Kraig T. Kitchin has managed radio businesses and/or the careers of renown radio personalities, entering the industry in 1981.
He spent 20+ years with Premiere Networks, the nation’s leading radio network as measured by audience reach and revenue generation, as one of six co-founders and later, as President / COO, 1987-2008. The company became known for syndicating award-winning personalities who hosted highly-rated programs that aired on thousands of radio stations. In addition, it offered a diverse range of radio programming and production services to benefit radio station operations. The company has only continued to grow and refine its industry leadership position, a tribute to the many long-standing management and employees of the network.
Since 2008, Kitchin has operated Sound Mind, a management company enhancing and furthering the careers of high-profile radio personalities and audio production companies. His management work is best known by operating the businesses around fellow Radio Hall of Fame inductees: Rush Limbaugh, Delilah, Jim Rome, Bill Handel and Kim Komando. In addition, Kitchin works with leadership at companies including Oxford Road, ReelWorld, The Mix Group and Source Audio to affect their growth and company culture.
From 2010-2016, Kraig Kitchin participated in the founding and growth of TheBlaze.com, Blaze TV and Blaze Media.
Early in his career, Kraig Kitchin worked with Liggett Broadcast Group and Katz Radio before joining others to co-found Premiere Networks. He has served as chairman and co-chairman of the Radio Hall of Fame, and as a board member of the Museum of Broadcast Communications and Point Hope.
In 2024, Kraig T. Kitchin was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame.
