Kim Komando is one of America’s most successful self-syndicated radio hosts and web entrepreneurs.
For more than 25 years, Kim has been a trusted source for digital-lifestyle and technology news and conversation that helps improve individuals’ daily lives. Kim is best known for hosting her popular self-titled program, “The Kim Komando Show,” the largest weekend radio show in the country which airs across 420 radio stations to an estimated 6.5 million listeners. Kim Komando is also host of the “Daily Tech Update” reports, heard on 390 radio stations across the U.S. Her radio shows are also heard internationally on the Armed Forces Radio Network, covering 177 different countries.
Each week, Kim also hosts a tech-business oriented radio show on SiriusXM, as well. Kim Komando was a true pioneer in 1995, building the nation’s first multimedia broadcast empire encompassing network radio, internet, email newsletters, and Komando-branded products.
Komando and her husband, Barry Young, own Phoenix-based WestStar TalkRadio Network, which distributes the Komando radio programs. Kim Komando was first heard on KFYI AM in Phoenix, Arizona, prior to the self-syndication efforts that has led her to the success she has enjoyed for several decades.
She has been a columnist for USA Today since February 2002.
