JAVIER ROMERO

Javier Romero is the host of “El Desayuno” on Miami’s AMOR 107.5, WAMR-FM, the top-rated morning show in South Florida. He’s one of the most recognized radio and television personalities in Miami – Ft. Lauderdale, and the U.S. Hispanic market.

Javier’s long-standing successful morning show airs weekday 6am to 11am has held the attention of both audiences and sponsors, many who have included Javier Romero’s talents in their commercial campaigns throughout the U.S. and Latin America. Additionally, Javier Romeo has hosted the syndicated program, “El Hit Parade de America”, for more than three decades, giving him an audience connection in over 60 radio markets across the country, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. 

For 30 years he was co-host of “Sábado Gigante”, one of Spanish-language television’s most popular shows airing in the U.S., Mexico and many Latin American countries. Mr. Romero has also hosted a wide variety of shows and specials for the Univision Network. 

His longstanding work with the St. Jude Research Hospital has helped hundreds of children and their families. The March of Dimes has recognized his leadership and involvement with their prestigious Humanitarian Award.

In 2013, Javier Romero received a Marconi Award from the NAB.
